Cockett Marine Oil takes its responsibility to the community very seriously. As well as providing funding to charities in its local community, its staff are also encouraged to take part in events and fundraising activities ensuring they have a personal involvement with the projects.

Dubai – Head Office

The Cockett Head office is currently supporting 2 charities based in Dubai.

Adopt A Camp

Their main aim is to help the men that live in labour camps by donating boxes of groceries, toiletries, bedding and other essentials. Adopt a Camp also run English classes, hygiene workshops for the men for free to help them whilst they work here in Dubai. Cockett Marine Oil has made a donation to help the efforts of the volunteers who run this charity.

The Angel Appeal

The Angel Appeal charity funds the Flying Angel support vessel so that she can go out into the Fujairah Anchorage and offer seafarers the chance to use the internet, contact their families back home and have access to literature. Cockett has made a donation to this cause as we hope it will help the volunteers & the Flying Angel to continue their generous work.

Harris HospisCare

Which aims to improve the quality of life of patients by providing specialist palliative care, supporting families and carers and working in a training capacity with local health care professionals to improve end of life care for all.

Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)

Royal National Lifeboat Institution is a charity that saves lives at sea, ensuring that lifeboats, life-saving equipment and shore facilities are maintained in a safe manner and kept in a state of readiness. The organisation must raise sufficient funds to enable it to save lives now and in the future, and pursue innovative ways of extending its role to provide better support for crews. Cockett donation goes towards general upkeep of the site at the Ramsgate and training crew for the future
